I always enjoy flying in and out of Chicago near sunset or at night because you get to see how expansive the area is.
You can follow the coast-line all the way to Gary, Indiana. Cool.

Leaving JFK on JetBlue. Pretty cool seeing the city from the sky.
Also, I like the fact the flight had DirectTV and only cost $100 one-way(event though the company paid).

Stopping at a roadside gas station just before getting into the NYC to fill up the rental I saw these boats tied up on the river.
Really seems like people are living in those things. Are those the equivalent to the trailer parks? Actually, they just look likes houses built on piers.

Not a good idea to drive over an hour after flying for 12 hours. Especially not up 95 from Laguardia.
While in Oslo, I was able to go to a concert. This was my first major concert and it happened to be Ne-Yo’s last stop of his Year of the Gentleman tour.
Great entertainer! I also learned that Stargate, that produced a lot of his songs were originally from Norway.
