A few weeks back I was in Bergen. The next few posts is to gt caught up in those photos so just in case people are still viewing this that there is something new.
Trolls are pretty common in old Norwegian stories. I have yet to hear one but you can see the importance of trolls – at lease in the tourist trap areas.
This one I guess is a cute girl version. Aside from the fact it is a troll, I am really impressed with the expression and the skill that all the trolls are made. This one hasn’t been petrified.

i still remember a story of the troll under the bridge from grade school. i think i prefer trolls with jewels in their tummies.
